Kara Seaman
Kara graduated from University of East London 2002, where she studied Graphic Fine Art. She is a member of Swansea Print Workshop and is often involved with community based printmaking projects. Her work is primarily about animals she has a particular interest their history and myth. Although Kara works across the disciplines of print, she particularly likes collagraph printing, this involves making a collage that can then be inked and printed. Being able to shape and manipulate the card is a very important part of her work and helps to add texture and embossing into each piece.
